Today we’re equally proud to announce the publication of another story of murders most foul. It’s called The Heights, it’s written by Garry Stanton and it’s set on the opposite side of the country, in Garry’s home city of Edinburgh. It’s the schizophrenic Edinburgh that you’ll encounter in the book. The city that inspired Stevenson’s Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is now home to another monster, a modern-day Mr Hyde, but without the alter ego of a good doctor to stem his cravings.
Now we know what you’re thinking. Which one of the two new books was actually written by J K Rowling? Well, we may be crass and irreverent here at McStorytellers, and we may swear a lot, be we would never stoop to that kind of duplicity. Nor are the books’ authors so unsure of their own talent that they would agree to such a cynical ploy. We hope that clears up the matter!
