Four years later, some 50 publications carry the McStorytellers label. And when we checked the stats yesterday, we found to our delight that paid downloads of the Kindle versions of those publications had exceeded 5,000, while sales of paperback copies had reached the 1,000 mark.
Now, we think those are pretty cool numbers. Numbers to celebrate. And we’re celebrating with a double giveaway during Black Friday weekend (yeah, that’s what they’re calling it).
FREE to download all weekend is our very first publication, and by far the biggest selling, the acclaimed family saga, The Five Sons of Charlie Gisby.
Also FREE to download all weekend is a taste of more traditional McStorytellers fare from oor main man fae Ayrshire, Angus Shoor Caan. Penned in his trademark native tongue, Tattie Zkowen’s Perfect Days is a trilogy of linked short stories that will warm your hearts in this cold weather. You’ll just love Jinky, the dug!
So go on and fill yer boots. And stand by for two more exciting announcements. There’s a McCompetition to test your knowledge of Scottish writers. And there’s a stunning new McSerial to take you all the way up to Christmas Eve.
Aye, it’s aw go here on McStorytellers!
